Semaj Brooklin is a contemporary Christian artist whose unique blend of rap and soulful melodies reflects both his deep faith and his fearless creativity. Born in Albany, Georgia, and raised on the Southside of Atlanta from the age of six, he now calls Savannah, Georgia home. His stage name, Semaj (James spelled backwards), is a nod to his given name and his creative perspective on life.

     His introduction to the studio came through the late Pedro Ford, sparking a passion for music that has only grown stronger. By the age of 14, he was recording his own songs, writing, rapping, and singing while sharpening his vocal skills through lessons at Atlanta’s renowned Jan Smith Studios. During this time, he also began performing at school talent shows and pep rallies, further cementing his love for the stage.

     Today, Semaj Brooklin’s music reflects his mission: to inspire, uplift, and push creative boundaries. “My music is different, I don’t want to just make money in the business; I love music and I want to inspire others, that’s my drive for being in this business.
